Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to bookings made directly to Munkebjerg Hotel either via online booking or by telephone, email or personal inquiry at the reception.

Munkebjerg Hotel's online booking
Credit card is given as guarantee for reservation. If a deposit is stated on e.g. Gourmet stay, we will deduct the amount from the specified gift card.
Direct booking
Booking made per e-mail, phone or personal contact to the reception, confirmed in writing by e-mail. Payment for stay is agreed upon booking. Confirmation for bookings subject to advance payment or deposit is sent per email with a payment link.
When the amount has been paid, your booking is finally confirmed.
Contact
Contact information such as e-mail addresses and telephone numbers provided in connection with purchases and bookings may be used for marketing Munkebjerg Hotel.
If you do not want us to contact you, it is easy and simple to unsubscribe from both email and SMS. It is possible to unsubscribe from all newsletters. If, as expected, this is not possible, please contact us at info@munkebjerg.dk

Order confirmation
All orders are automatically confirmed per e-mail. Remember to make sure that your email address is correct before you approve your booking. If you do not receive an order confirmation, you may want to check your SPAM folder in your email.
Prices
All prices in the webshop and online booking are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) including VAT, excluding any shipping.
Gift Card
Gift cards purchased at Munkebjerg Hotel are valid as a starting point* 3 years from the date of issue, cf. the Purchase Act. There is also a 14-day full right of return on purchased gift cards.
Next, the value of a gift card can always be exchanged for other of our products or services. If you do not use the entire amount when exchanging, we will write down the corresponding value on your purchased gift card. The expiration date will remain the original.
You cannot exchange gift cards from other providers such as Smartbox, Take Offer and others with our own gift cards - nor shop for gift cards from us or other providers in the webshop or online booking.
The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash or a cash gift card.
It is not possible to exchange your gift card/gift certificate for a new gift card/gift certificate, nor is it possible to collect several gift cards/gift certificates for a new one.
Your gift card is a bearer certificate. This means that the gift card cannot be replaced if you lose it. It will always be the person in possession of the gift card who will be able to redeem it. You can equate a gift card with banknotes and coins, which also cannot be replaced if they are lost or lost.
Gift certificate
A gift certificate is not a gift card. The difference is that a gift certificate is valid for a specific product or service. Gift vouchers can also have special conditions, such as a shorter expiry date.
A gift certificate cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.
Gift vouchers are mostly used for campaigns such as Black Friday, the start of the season, etc., where the price of the experience is far below normal.
You cannot exchange your gift card/gift certificate for a new gift card/gift certificate, nor can you collect several gift cards/gift certificates for a new one.
Electronic gift card
Gift cards from Munkebjerg Hotel are not digital or electronic. Although the sale of gift cards and gift certificates takes place online, it is not the same as an electronic gift card.
The gift card is not subject to the rules for electronic gift cards. It is only digital because we send a PDF. The code on the gift card must be compared with consecutively numbered gift cards and is used exclusively for our own registration and handling.
*If it is the second expiry date on the gift card/gift certificate, this will be clearly indicated.
Payment
Munkebjerg Hotel uses a secure payment gateway from Nets Easy and Netaxept for payment by credit card via online booking and in the webshop.
You can pay with Dankort, Mastercard, VISA, Maestro, American Express and MobilePay.
Return/regret
There is a 14-day right of return/cancellation on unused goods.
If you wish to cancel the purchase of a gift card/gift certificate, simply contact Munkebjerg Hotel and state your order number. We cancel the gift card and put the money back on the payment card used.
If the item is physical, it must be returned in its original packaging.
In case of exchange or return, the item is sent to Munkebjerg Hotel with invoice/invoice copy and return slip attached. The cost in connection with the return is paid by you as a customer.
We do not accept returns that have been sent by cash on delivery.
For refunds, we must use the following information:
- name of the bank
- Registration number (4 digits) and account number (10 digits)
We refund the money the same day we receive the goods.
Delivery and shipping
Gift cards and gift vouchers are delivered as a PDF file and sent as an attachment in an e-mail to the given address.
Goods that must be sent physically are sent by parcel post via PostNord. A delivery time of 5-7 days must be expected. All orders that are sent physically are subject to a postage and handling fee of a total of DKK 100,00.
Alternatively, you can pick up your gift card free of charge at the hotel's reception.
Complaints
There is a 2-year warranty on all physical goods. In the event of a complaint, Munkebjerg Hotel will exchange the item. We reserve the right to settle a complaint by paying the product's purchase price.
