The pool area is only free to use if you are a guest staying at Munkebjerg Hotel or have booked a massage.
Pool area is open every day from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The following opening hours apply:
From 11:00-16:30 access is ONLY for adults (16+)
Children ONLY have access between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM and 4:30 PM and 10:00 PM.
Children from 0-15 years old have NO access from 11 am-4:30 pm
There is no age limit for the wellness area, but small children under 3 years old must wear a diaper and children under 12 years old may only be in the area accompanied by an adult. Although we are not a spa hotel, you will find that your experience at Munkebjerg Hotel almost feels like one. Whether you are looking for a spa stay in Jutland, a wellness stay in Vejle or just want a day of relaxation, our goal is to give you a wonderful experience.
For those who want to combine relaxation with exercise, our fitness facilities are available 04.00 hours a day from 24.00:XNUMX to XNUMX:XNUMX. You will find the fitness area on the lower floor by the Treetop Restaurant, and our friendly reception staff are always ready to guide you.

We offer self-indulgence for every taste at Munkebjerg Hotel.
Make use of our various fitness machines, which you will find downstairs at the Treetop Restaurant.
In the fitness area, there are both cross trainers, treadmills, exercise bikes, rowing machines and various dumbbells.
Our exercise machines have the very latest technology.
You have e.g. possibility to access the internet via the control panel on all cross trainers, bicycles and treadmills.
The exercise room is bright and friendly and lies completely undisturbed, so you can train exactly as you want for as long as you want.
In the fitness area, there are also small towels that are free to use and there are TV screens on the walls.
Please note that the area is self-service and is not an extension of the wellness department.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Can I bring my dog?
At Munkebjerg Hotel, your pet is also welcome in selected rooms. However, your best friend may not be brought into the lobby bar or restaurants. Cleaning supplement DKK 500 per pet/dog/cat per night.
Service dogs are of course exempt.
Is there a possibility to charge an electric car?
- In the hotel, we have 10 charging stations in total - 22 KW at each outlet.
- The plug type is charging plug Type-2.
- They are located in the car park on the left when you arrive at the hotel.
- And a single one is located at the main entrance.
- All charging stations are handled and operated by Norlys, and can of course be used around the clock for a fee.
When is breakfast?

What is the easiest way to get to the hotel?
• We are only a 7-minute drive from the E45
• It is possible to use a taxi to get to Munkebjerg Hotel by public transport.
• Route 18T runs between Vejle traffic center and Ankær in selected periods.
• Calling a taxi must be ordered no later than 1 hour before departure at Vejle Taxi on tel. 70201222.

Is there parking at the hotel?
- There is free parking at the hotel. We have approx. 500 free parking spaces.

Can I choose my own pillow?
At Munkebjerg Hotel, we think about your night's sleep. That's why we have a small selection of different pillows that you can borrow during your stay. Contact reception if you would like to borrow a particular pillow.
Is there room service available?
- At the hotel, we of course also provide room service, if desired.
- Treat yourself to a little extra luxury, enjoy the food and the good wine in peace and quiet in the room, on the balcony or perhaps in bed.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
All rooms in the hotel are non-smoking.
Guests may smoke outside in designated areas.
For example, at the large panoramic terrace and at the lobby bar's terrace, as well as at the casino in the indoor smoking cabins.
How big are the beds in the room?
The beds in the rooms measure as standard:
- Single bed: 90 x 200 cm.
- Double bed (consists of 2 x single beds) 2 pcs. mattresses of 90 x 200 cm.

Are there opportunities for outdoor activities?
Krolf
- Munkebjerg Hotel has a golf course with 12 holes, so you can play golf with family, friends, girlfriend, spouse, or whoever you are with during your stay here at the hotel.
- It is a cozy and social game that can be played by almost everyone.
- One hour's play DKK 25 per person. Equipment can be borrowed at the reception.
- Mixture of croquet and golf - One of the activities Vejle can offer is cross-country skiing. Krolf is a mixture of croquet and golf. Croquet is played with a croquet stick. The arches from croquet have been replaced with holes in the grass, just like when playing golf. The ball must go into the hole with as few strokes as possible. Playing krolf started in 1973, and it is becoming more and more widespread and popular.

- Munkebjerg Hotel has a nice, newly renovated outdoor tennis court close to the beautiful nature. Tennis was originally called lawn tennis because it was played on grass.
- But with us, as the only place outside in Denmark, you can play tennis on the same surface as at the US Open tournament.
- If you want to play tennis, use of the court is free for hotel guests, while equipment can be hired by contacting reception.
