MEET THE MARATHON SERVANT
When you book a party or event with us, it's not just a dinner - it's an experience! And that experience is led by our dedicated Banquet Manager, Kim Christensen, who brings a very special energy to the party.
Kim is not just a waiter and Banquet Manager – he is a marathon runner with an impressive CV of 100 completed marathons. His passion for running gives him a very special energy that rubs off on his work and ensures that you and your guests receive the best possible service.
With a keen eye for detail, an infectious humor, and a strong ability to read her guests, Kim makes sure every party is memorable.
Whether it's a romantic wedding, a lively company party or a cozy family event, you're in the best hands.
Kim has extensive experience in the waitering profession after graduating in 1995 from Scanticon (Comwell Kolding), and is also a trained Sommelier. As Banquet Manager, Kim has overall responsibility for planning, coordinating and executing all parties and events at Munkebjerg Hotel.

Our rooms are bright and offer a breathtaking view of Munkebjergskoven or Vejle Fjord. The tables are always beautifully set with white tablecloths and napkins, complemented by candles and flowers in harmonious colors that highlight the rooms in the most beautiful way. It is always possible to customize the choice of flowers and candles according to your wishes.

Here, our own butcher, baker, confectioner and flower decorator work – each with passion, precision, and respect for the traditions that make us special.
Our butcher makes the hotel's famous sausage rolls, cured sausage and ham – all homemade according to old recipes and the proud principles of craftsmanship.
In the bakery and pastry shop, the aroma of freshly baked bread, pastries and cakes fills the air every morning, while the pastry chef conjures up beautiful and tasty creations for conferences, meetings and parties.
And as the icing on the cake, our floral decorator ensures that the hotel is always beautifully decorated with fresh seasonal flowers – whether it's Christmas, Easter or Midsummer.
It's all part of our DNA – because we believe that true quality starts with people who are passionate about what they do.
