IT'S ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE EMPLOYEES
- BUT OF COURSE IT'S ALSO ABOUT THE GUESTS
PureTechs innovative concept has been developed in a collaboration between a German and a Danish company - and the result is almost too good to be true. But also only almost. Because with a proven gentleness towards the environment, PureTech's cleaning agents in collaboration with a special surface treatment are able to constantly keep viruses, bacteria and mold down. Both on the short and the long run.
It seems to be no great challenge to find cleaning agents that can remove dirt, dung, bacteria and mould. The challenge comes, on the other hand, when the desire is expressed for the cleaning agents to be harsh on dirt at the same time, but gentle on everything else: the environment and not least the people who use the cleaning agents or have to stay in the areas where there are been cleaned.
- This is where PureTech comes into the picture, because our product portfolio is based on biodegradable cleaning agents, which result in a noticeably healthier working and indoor climate. At the same time, the products are both CO2-neutral and 100 percent biodegradable, says Kim Friis, who is the CEO of PureTech.
The company distributes the German cleaning products in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, and at the same time has developed a special concept that effectively waves goodbye to viruses, bacteria and mold in the long run.
HAPPINESS AT WORK HAS RECEIVED A GOOD BENEFIT
AT MUNKEBERG HOTEL
Marina Hindbo, who is the old lady at Munkebjerg Hotel, has been in charge of running the new concept and the new products from PureTech. From day one, she has experienced enormous satisfaction with the new cleaning products
Marina Hindbo has no doubt that the introduction of the new cleaning concept from PureTech has been a great success and worth all the effort.
She is the old lady at Munkebjerg Hotel, and for more than a year she has gotten used to – and her employees – handling the environmentally friendly cleaning agents from PureTech.
- I would actually like to say that I received positive messages from my employees right from the first day. They could tell by the breath that something had happened, and it is therefore quite wild. It also says a little about what is in the products that we have used in the past, says Marina Hindbo.
She acknowledges that there was a natural skepticism in relation to the products and concept from PureTech, because it almost sounded a little too promising.
- So it's a bit of a different process, where we occasionally have to use more knuckle grease, as they say. And when you go from a concept that has been adapted to for several years, and suddenly have to do things in a completely different way, well, it will create a bit of grumbling in the corners.
I also like to admit that I was a little skeptical myself. But there has been no reason for that at all, emphasizes Marina Hindbo.
CLEANING COMPLETELY WITHOUT
hocus pocus
- There is no hocus pocus about either our products or concept, even if one could well be led to believe so. It is very much about the special composition of our cleaning agents. And then, of course, it is about the way in which we use the various products, emphasizes Kim Friis, whose company has collaborated with Munkebjerg Hotel.
Specifically, virtually all internal surfaces in the hotel are treated once or twice a year the product Titano®. It is a liquid which is based on natural mineral salts.- Using an electrostatic process, we spray Titano® on a surface, where a completely invisible membrane is then formed, which is no more than 10 to 20 micrometers thick.
We do this on the tiles in the bathrooms primarily against mould, as well as on washbasins and in toilet bowls to maintain a very high level of hygiene. But we do it broadly on all surfaces, because the membrane helps to constantly break down all unwanted microbiology such as bacteria, viruses and mould, explains Kim Friis.
A CONTINUED IMPROVEMENT
in the indoor climate
- Our product has been specially developed to replace a large number of cleaning agents, which do not have nearly the same degree of environmental friendliness as ours.
You quickly notice a big improvement in the working environment when you switch to our products. There is less irritation for the employees who handle the cleaning, but there is also generally a much better air quality with the PureTech products. Everyone says that it is much better to work with, points out Kim Friis.
With the two products, companies now have a completely unique opportunity to do away with bacteria and viruses – and at the same time create a much better and healthier working environment.
- The third leg of this concept is that we constantly work to measure and document that there is a continuous improvement both in the efficiency of the cleaning, but also in the indoor climate and satisfaction among the employees. And that's it, points out the director.
