Denmark's largest LED screen at Munkebjerg Hotel
The conference guests at Munkebjerg Hotel can look forward to a "fantastic experience", after the hotel and conference industry's largest, permanently mounted LED screen is now assembled and ready.
The eight by four meter screen has just been assembled on the wall in the Munkebjerg hall, and a "proud and happy" Danny Rithaphorn Christiansen, IT and AV manager at the Munkebjerg Hotel, says that "a very special experience" awaits the conference guests. :
"The screen is not just exceptionally large - the image resolution is at the same time almost 4K and thus exceptionally high in relation to the size of the screen. This gives the conference guests a unique and super sharp image experience.
Right after the screen was assembled, I just had to sit for an hour and a half straight and watch videos of beautiful nature reports. The combination of the size of the screen and the high image quality created such a fascinating experience that I couldn't tear myself away.”
High image quality – relaxing for the eyes
According to the IT and AV manager, the high image quality also makes it more pleasant for the eyes of the conference participants to look at the screen:
"When the image quality is so high, it makes it possible to use a correspondingly lower brightness on the screen, and it ensures that it will be more relaxing for the eyes to look at the screen - especially when you, as a conference guest, have to look at a whole series of slideshows in during a conference day”.
The same experience everywhere in the hall
Danny Rithaphorn Christiansen emphasizes that with the new giant screen, the conference guests get the same visual experience, regardless of where they sit in the Munkebjerg hall. This also applies to the experience of the sound from the two sound columns that were installed in the hall a few years ago:
"Sound and picture now match each other at the same high level, and no matter where you sit in the hall, you get the same sound quality in your ears from the sound system, which also automatically adjusts the sound so that it is always optimal in relation to the number of people in the hall, ” says the IT and AV manager.
Goodbye to shadows on the canvas
The LED screen is from the Maxhub brand and assembled from 648 plates, which together make up the 347-inch screen. Compared to the traditional conference hall solution with screen and projector, the 32 square meter LED screen offers both conference guests and presenters a number of additional advantages:
"As a conference guest, you avoid the presenter casting shadows on the screen when he moves around the stage. As a presenter, you avoid getting the light cone from the projector in your face, while at the same time you get greater freedom of movement on stage, because there is no screen on which you cast shadows. With the LED screen, we also no longer have to dim the light in the hall so that the image is sharp - this way the conference guests can better see the presenter and any panelists, as well as what else is going on on stage".
A more attractive conference hotel
For Munkebjerg, the ambition with the purchase of the giant screen is to become a more attractive, five-star conference hotel, says Danny Rithaphorn Christiansen:
"We have bought it to give our guests the best possible experience, and we believe that it will make even more conference organizers choose Munkebjerg Hotel. We are looking forward to sharing the giant screen experience with our guests, because it has really raised the bar".
