Bartender at Munkebjerg is chasing his third EC title
When the EC in cocktail mixing kicks off on Sunday 17 March in Austria, Ulrich Steffensen will go after his third gold medal.
The training for the EC is primarily work behind the bar at the Munkebjerg Hotel, where he competes with himself every day to give the guests ever greater experiences.
In addition, he is currently also training with the development of the cocktail he is participating with at the European Cocktail Mixing Championships in Pörtschach from 17 to 19 March:
"I have named it 'Pussy Galore' after one of James Bond's many women. It's a catchy name that will probably create attention for the EC," says Ulrich Steffensen and continues:
"It's a cocktail with vodka, orange liqueur, lemon, rhubarb and homemade soda with raspberry and rose flavours. In addition, I am currently working on developing it further by, for example, adding smoke or ice that changes colour. It is important that the cocktail appears both original and extraordinary in addition to offering a delicious taste experience.”
